Wordpress is an open source Content Management System (or dynamic website platform) similar to Joomla!

There are millions of Wordpress Website users around the World, just as there are Joomla! Website users.

Wordpress is being targeted this time; next time it could be Joomla!

What is a Brute Force Attack?

The attack against Wordpress Websites involved a botnet trying to break into WordPress websites by continually trying to guess the username and password to access the websites' control panel.
