Wynchcote Joomla! Maintenance Plans

Our Joomla! Maintenance Solutions offer:

  1. backup of your Joomla! Website's Database;
  2. backup of your Joomla! Website's Directories and Files;
  3. upgrade to the latest release of Joomla! version being used by your website following an announcement by The Joomla! Project during the preceding maintenance period (quarter, month, week, day):
  4. upgrade to the latest release of up to 5 third party Joomla! extensions being used by your website following an announcement by a third party developer during the preceding maintenance period (quarter, month, week, day);
  5. storage of the backup made of your Joomla! website directories files and database for a period of 90 days;
  6. delivery to you of a Zip File copy of your backed up Directories, Files and Database;
  7. restoration of your backed up Joomla! website if and when required.

DIY Joomla! Maintenance

Regular DIY Joomla! maintenance should include:

  • periodic backing up of your website database (Example: monthly);
  • retention of a copy on your PC of uploaded files (images, documents, multimedia etc);
  • maintenance of notes of changes you have made to the configuration of extensions (if any);
  • registration with The Joomla! Project for news about Joomla! Upgrades;
  • registration with developers of third party extensions you are using - again for news about upgrades;
  • regular upgrade of third party Joomla! extensions (after first backing up your site).


IMPORTANT:

Always back up your website before upgrading or installing new extensions.
