Joomla! Templates

A Joomla! template consists of a suite of directories and files which act together to control the style and appearance of a Joomla! website.

Wynchcote Websites are built on the Joomla! platform and so use Joomla! Templates.

The Features of Wynchcote Joomla! Templates

Choose any one of 3 Template Display Formats.

Each display format offers you a choice of 4 Distinct Layouts with which to present content to your visitors.

All our Wynchcote Templates are configured to enable you to control the appearance of your Wynchcote Website without any knowledge of HTML!

How to Customise your Website.

Template Display Formats

Templates are available in different formats:

1) Fixed Width (Narrow and Wide) - as shown below;

2) Fluid Width (Variable Width) - please ask for a Custom Template or Website Design.

Example Fixed Width Display 774px

Narrow Width (774px)

Traditional PC monitors have screen resolutions of 800 x 600 px.

Our Narrow Width templates will fill a traditional monitor screen.

On a more modern screen your website will be presented with wide margins either side.

Example Fixed Width Display 962px

Wide Width (962px)

Modern PC monitors and laptops have screen resolutions of at least 1024 px.

Our Wide Width templates will fill the minimum screen size of a modern PC.

The margins will be wider on a widescreen laptop.

Whichever format you choose, Wynchcote templates are extremely versatile - enabling content to be displayed using a range of different layouts across your site (see below).
