Joomla! 1.5 Global Configuration
Go to your Admin Panel (log in Back End) and select the Global Configuration button to set overall site controls. For example, from here you can enable users to log in from the front end.
This should be your first point of call after your Joomla! Installation has been created by Wynchcote. Reason: to change your username and password.
What is Global Configuration?
This term refers to the main settings controlling your Joomla! installation, for example, the name which appears at the top of every page on a viewer's computer screen (notice the words 'Wynchcote Solutions' displayed at the top of your screen as you read these words).
How do I access Global Configuration settings?
Global Configuration is found by first logging into the backend of your site - unsure how to do this? Go to Introduction and select Logging In (Front End) or Logging In (Back End).
