Joomla! 1.5 Banner Management

Creating and inserting Banners in your website is a complex activity to undertake, and involves a steep learning curve!

We recommend that you therefore leave this until you have mastered managing content - creating new Articles and Menu Links, and editing content using the Content Editor (JCE Content Editor is highly recommended).

There are four stages which should be tackled in this order - assuming you do not have any existing categories, clients, banners or modules activated for your site.

Stage 1: Create Banner Category.

Stage 2: Create Banner Client.

Stage 3: Create Banner (in the above category).

Stage 4: Copy and rename an existing Banner Module (Wynchcote provide pre-configured banner modules with every Wynchcote Dynamic Website for this purpose).

Note: We have listed these stages in this order because information from earier stages is needed at later stages in the banner management process.
