Is Joomla 2.5 stable enough to use?

No software is truly stable or 'bug-free'!

Stability is also a 'relative concept'.

Remember that not all users are directly affected by every bug.

Most Joomla! users are happily running their powerful dynamic websites safe in the knowledge that any bugs identified by the Joomla! developer community are receiving attention and will be fixed over time.

Rest assured that Wynchcote would not be recommending customers run sites built on the Joomla! 2.5 platform if we did not consider the platform to be sufficiently stable.

We have built and operate our own company website on the Joomla! 2.5 platform!

But please remember that it is your responsibility as a user to monitor for new releases and to keep your site up to date, that is, if you want it to maintain 'bug-free' and protected from hacker-attack.

Joomla! 2.5 makes this a much less demanding task than before.
